The Venetian Sonnets

Paul Venzo, Karien Sinclair, Jane Duffy and a small group of young men have collaborated and will be staging The Venetian Sonnets on 19 and 20 March in the Mozart Hall.

It is difficult to pinpoint the genre, but it lies somewhere between musical theatre and classical music.

Based on 15 sonnets by Paul (as part of his PhD) with music composed by Karien, Jane and "The Monks" join in to complement the story, set in medieval Italy.
